This was the first election to take place on the country's new election date, now being the second to last Saturday in October, rather than the second to last Thursday. As usual, this election included all representative seats with 2 year terms and and half of Assembly seats with 4 year terms, as well as the popular election for prime minister, which is every 5 years.</span></p>

On 17 October 2020, the Republic of Adana held biennial elections for federal offices. This was the first election to take place on the country's new election date, now being the second to last Saturday in October, rather than the second to last Thursday. As usual, this election included all representative seats with 2 year terms and and half of Assembly seats with 4 year terms, as well as the popular election for prime minister, which is every 5 years.
